Hawk? Falcon? Either, way...on Gothamist. :)

I was walking to a meeting today and saw this hawk? falcon? on 4th Street near 6th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn.



A woman was on the phone talking to authorities of some sort. She said the bird hadn't moved for 10 minutes. It was just standing there, blinking.

I thought to myself... Pics of this would be great for Gothamist! A guy on the street said to me "Is that going to be in the news?" I replied "Maybe!"

Came home and submitted them. And whaddaya know? This one made the cut...
