We don't know anything about editing!
So we're gonna keep adding clips here without puttin' 'em together. If any of you are disgusted by this and want to do something about it (hint hint), let us know.
We got our day started in a beautiful location, thanks to Matt Semel!

mologogo - wherever you go, there you are
I just went to the post office to pick up my package from mologogo.

Charging the phone now. Then, once Lillian and I start our 24-hour adventure at noon, you can see where we are by going here. If you go to the site before we begin you might be confused...it shows where the phone was shipped from. :)

Reasons for testing stuff.
Agh. I find this funny, but...
I tried out this little video camera I'm borrowing and somehow I kept recording when I didn't mean to and stopping when I wanted to. Ooooops!
At least I learned that lesson early. ;)

The Danger of Bubble Gum
Look what happened at the BBQ! Someone (Lillian) accidentally spit her gum out and it landed on my camera.
That's the pic of Matt in my display!! :)

BBQ, Bubbles, Ice Cream, Light
Tonight Lilian and I went to Doug's bbq. I brought a bag of bubble gum and encouraged everyone to be part of International Bubble Gum Week.
Mark was color coordinated:

Matt was shocked by his own success:

Alexis looked pretty:

Lillian sometimes spit her gum out accidentally:

Miguel & I worked together:

Chris got creative:

Jason was most successful and most consistent:

Later, Lillian and I heard the ice cream truck and were temporarily distracted!

Once it was dark enough, we started drawing with light. Matt took this photo and Jason did the artwork. It's my favorite of the bunch. It's really fun to not know what's being drawn until looking at the photo!

It was all lots of fun!
See Kain's pics here!

Matt made this. He let me and Lillian borrow it for our adventure!!
It can charge things along the way! How cool is that?!
And what is it with boys and soldering? ;)

24 Hour Adventure begins at noon Tuesday!
Tomorrow at this time, Lilly and I will be enjoying the start of our 24 hour adventure!

If anyone is interested in meeting up with us at Coney Island Tuesday afternoon or the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden Tuesday evening, let us know! Exact times aren't planned out cuz we wanna have flexibility in case unexpected opportunities arise.
We have Darny's video camera. We are picking up a tracking phone sent from mologogo at the post office in the morning. We have adventure bandanas, thanks to Lilly, who says "Every adventure needs a bandana!"
We're gonna try to upload photos along the way, so keep watchin!
Today we're going to a bbq. And I'm going to try to get a bubble gum bubble blowing contest going for International Bubble Gum Week.
EVERY day is an adventure. ;)

UPDATE: 24 Hour Adventure: NYC
Lillian and I met tonight to discuss our 24 hour adventure.
We now have a general idea of where we'll be when...
Hint:
(noon Tuesday)
Manhattan.
Staten Island.
Brooklyn.
Queens.
Manhattan.
Bronx.
(noon Wednesday)
We still may throw Jersey in there.
Right now I am researching places that are open 24 hours in NYC. Most of us who live here know that there is a 24 hour post office. One time I was in there pretty late and the woman at the window told me people have arrived in bunny slippers and stuff. Hmmm.
I'm thinkin' we should send a postcard to one of you from the middle of the night. Lemme know if you're interested in getting one. Maybe we'll pick you!
There are also some interesting sounding 24-hour laundromats. And the Apple Store. And various diners, grocery stores, and drug stores.
We'll see how much of the city stays awake...

American Cancer Society Photo Shoot
Today I did a photo shoot for the American Cancer Society.
The plan is that some of the photos will be used in a national print ad for their diversity campaign! How cool is that? And more photos will be used on their website.
Unfortunately, I can't post the photos now, but I will keep everyone informed - not sure of the timeline as of now.
It was a super fun shoot - I photographed 13 of their employees. I photographed headshots of each person in front of beautiful colorful mosaics in the courtyard at their office and also took photos of each person with a prop that represented their hobbies. Some of the props included gardening tools, a wok and fresh vegetables, a motorcycle helmet, a guitar, a flute, and a camera!

Circuit Parade
Circuit Parade (Joe McGinty, Mike McGinness, Julia Kent, and Leon Dewan) has been in the studio recording their debut album.
I saw a show of theirs at the Lucky Cat in Williamsburg on Monday and stopped by the studio during their recording session yesterday.
It like totally rocked. :)
Here are some of my photos...

UPDATE: 24 Hour Adventure: NYC
Hooray!!!
We now have a digital video camera to borrow. Thank you, Darny! You ROCK!
AND super-cool news - Matt was all like "you should have a tracking device so that people can see where you are the whole time" and sent me a link to mologogo.
So I have now gotten a donation of a tracking phone & service! More on that to come! Meanwhile, check out info on mologogo here!
Keep the ideas coming... :)

24 Hour Adventure: NYC
On Tuesday, May 29th at 12noon, Lillian and I are embarking on a 24-hour adventure.

Our only rule is that we can't step foot in our places of residency until noon on Wednesday.
We will, of course, be taking plenty of photographs to document the trip, but we'd also love a little digital video to go with it! Unfortunately, we have no such equipment. If you have anything we can borrow or if you wanna be our personal cameraman, please let us know!
We are still brainstorming ideas about what to do or where to go, but we would potentially like to get to Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Hoboken, and Jersey City.
If you want us to visit you on our tour, let us know why we should! ;)
If this goes well, we're gonna do the same thing in other cities, starting with the northeast - Boston, Philadelphia, DC... We might need your help there too!
So! We're lookin' for:
- anything that can record a bit of digital video
- some sort of GP thingie so everyone can go online and see where we are at any given moment - Mologogo, says Matt
- people to visit
- cool places open 24 hours
- perhaps a free meal or two
- suggestions on where to go
- requests of places/stuff you wanna see in our photos
It's gonna ROCK...for at least 12 hours. ;)

Shoot + Graduation
Saturday was a bit nutty. And fun!
I got up at 7:15am, took a shower, and headed to Matt's house for a 10ton shoot. Crew got there at 8am. Actors began showing up at 9am. I was Assistant Director and still photographer. We were busy all day.
Remember Get Engaged Quickly? Same great group of people. You're gonna love what they've come up with this time. More info and photos when the time is right.
Here are Chris Chang and Matt Semel, the Directors:

And here I am, on location:

I then sped home, changed into something nice, and ran up to Avery Fisher Hall for the Fordham Graduate School of Business Graduation. I coulda gone through the ceremony (I finished my classes and got my MBA in August), but decided to just go to support my friends and attend the parties. I arrived late and saw the last half hour of the ceremony.

Then went to the Fordham party at the Lincoln Center campus and then to a club called Slate on 21st Street for an after-party.
Ingrid graduated and Dana was there to show support:

Ingrid's husband, Wolfgang:

It was a long fun day...slept till past noon on Sunday! :)
